CCEC

The Cambridge Central European Conference (CCEC) was co-founded by Dr Jana Howlett, Simona Majernikova, and Jakub Csabay. Since 2018, it has served as an interdisciplinary platform and annual flagship event at the University of Cambridge, bringing together public figures, policy voices, and leading academics from Central Europe and Cambridge.

The conference created a space for discussion of the region’s contemporary challenges, historical experiences, and emerging opportunities, while raising awareness of Central Europe within the University of Cambridge and beyond. The Cambridge Dialogues on Central Europe builds on this legacy, continuing its commitment to sustained academic and policy engagement with the region.
